One of the easiest ways for Shaytan to get to you is when you are neglectful of Dhikr. The more your tongue remembers Allah, the more Shaytan stays away from you:
{وَمَنْ يَعْشُ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ}
“And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful, We appoint for him a devil, who becomes a companion to him.” [Al-Zukhruf 43:36]
